i'm a big fan of green day great songs... but the version of them are kinda i don't know this song it's supposed to be raw and fast punk the one of them has nothing to offer just a simply cover, nevermind i liked social d for too much years and every time i listen to this i want to beat down the fuck someone like the ol' days

Bashing people who listen to green day isn't punk. Punk is about individuality and not caring what other think of you they like green day so they listen to it . Telling somebody what is or isnt punk IS NOT PUNK. Punk is music or clothing style ITS A MENTALITY!!!

And pop PUNK isn't PUNK? That's confusing! Let others listen to what they want to damn it people. Why is it your concern if someone thinks that Green Day is the definition of punk. You obviously don't want someone like that in you circles so why even go throught the trouble of dealing with him? I like me some green day every once in a while, the offspring rule (yes the newest album too) and the ramones are still my definition of punk. Always thought the sex pistols sucked though (so sue me).
