First, turn up the volume, my camera doesnt have the best microphone!
Here's my response to Mr. Bicknell's video about how he lays down ground foam. I do most all of my scenery this way and i'm sure you've seen a bajillion other ways to do it. Dont tell me, tell Reality Reduced! This was quick and dirty and on a layout that will eventually be torn out anyway.
Materials used are:
White glue
Rubbing alcohol
Sifted sand
Woodland Scenics fine and coarse ground foam
Containers and spray bottles
Painted, prepared surface
Great video. However I have just one question, is that real pepper you're sprinkling at 1:02 or nutmeg? :)

@dep92 sorry for the slow response. just saw the video. go to any craft store and buy "floral moss" then put it in your wifes cuisinart to chop it up into fine bits. it looks just like dead foliage, and as an added bonus you'll get back at her for the "toy trains" comment by using her cuisinart like a mans tool!

I've been using tea leaves for dead leaves, they work well but are a little on the dark side and recomendations? I'm working on a rather tight budget, the wife doesn't care for my "toy trains"
