My Dalmatian, Domino, helped us raise 4 boys. They crawled all over him, took his toys, pulled his ears and tried to ride him like a pony. He never once even growled at them. Instead, he followed them around and kept them out of lots of trouble, even protecting them from a copperhead snake in their play area by pushing them away from the danger.
