maybe u misunderstand me: it's not language i disagree with, but the way they speak: it's the way their idols in another place (with a much more advanced criminal society) do, not accurate of oxford. if u act like it's a 'ghetto' u turn a myth into a self-fulfilling prophecy and it will be one. every neighborhood has the power 2 be a community as much as a battleground, it's just how u choose 2 see it. positive change is more than speaking out, it's changing a whole approach from scratch. peace.

i disagree that 'an area like' anywhere HAS to determine how one speaks, i've not had a 'priviledged' upbringing but try to use clear and explicit language to make my sentences effective. however that was not really what i meant: oxford is not the same as most real ghettos around the world and by perpetuating a myth via language it does not encourage people to see life for how bad it REALLY is. most of us would not last a day in a real ghetto. still better this song/video was made than not made!
