For the 2nd and Final Part, check my other video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J7m3lfSYKNo I also have a walkthrough of the different SNES game that has the same title, check it here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Fhsa_BUPQU The infamous NES game based on the first Home Alone movie. The only good point about it is that it basically follows the action sequences of the movie, the keyword being "basically". This is an obvious way to make money since kids who liked the movie would get the game, I mean their parents would buy them the game. I wouldn't normally say this, but just consider you've beaten the game after watching this walkthrough, or don't even watch it, I'd really understand why. There's practically no gameplay, we're talking about something as simple as Arcade games of the 80s, the gameplay is like an arcade, centered on high score rather than deep gameplay, but this came out in 1991 and it's not fun to play, while I liked classic Arcade games. What it is basically is a 20 minutes survival game where you have to put "different" traps in the way of Harry and Marv, the bad guys who want to steal stuff and who run a little bit faster than you. The traps are deactivated when they fall for it once, so you have to pick them up and let them back on the ground at the desired place. If they catch you at any point during those 20 minutes, you're done for. As soon as the 20 minutes counter is reached, the game ends with a single ending screen and your score, depending on how many times you trapped them. They move a little bit randomly in the house, which is really a limited environment, even if it's three stages high, but they also tend to go towards you and you won't know it before they're close enough. The icons for the traps you acquire are different, but they all do the same with no particular animation, they just stun the bad guy who steps on them for a few seconds, shorter if it's late in the game. Really no effort was put into this game and it shows. It really is one of the worst games of all time when you take all of this into consideration. This two part video is the whole game, which is as repetitive as it will ever be possible in any video game. The technique that works best and that I mainly use in this video is to go in a circle in and out of the house, giving you the opportunity to go on a long path, leaving some obstacles for the bad guys along the way. Sure, you will need to change your tactics once in a while, because the traps can only be used a few times before completely disappearing from the game (I'm not even sure if it's normal or a glitch), but it works best. Just be sure to carry 3 traps (the maximum possible) as often as you can. Just something weird on a last note, sometimes Kevin will do the moonwalk, it doesn't seem like it's meant to be, but much more like a bug. It doesn't matter and it didn't happen to me in this walkthrough, but it did happen at other times. Don't forget, if you have requests like for another video game walkthrough or something, just ask here or on my channel or even by sending me a message and if I can make it, there are good chances that I will.

  • i actually like this game !?!?

  • @evelyn4623 Lots of comments on the 2 parts seem to reflect that sentiment. It's ok, it's like me I like Last Action Hero (action movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger), but the general consensus seems to be that it sucks.

  • You failed to mention a few things:

There are several places you can hide on each floor by pressing "up". Also, you can use the traps 3 times each...some traps make the bandits stay down longer. And there are 4 chandeliers on the 2nd floor that you can drop down on the bandits while standing on the 3rd floor and pressing down and A. After that you can use them once. It is the most powerful weapon in the game.

  • @ericmsandoval I agree, now I know that the game is a bit easier to beat and also has more gameplay to it than I knew at first. The way I did this walkthrough is that I didn't really know the game that much other than the goal and I played until I managed a lucky win.

  • You played this bad game? I think you should try the Genesis version, which is way better than this.

  • @smbmadman1 That's an idea, I might try it.
