how do you do round objects?
randomvim 4 weeks ago
@randomvim When you make a round object you still start with a cube. You put an X from corner to corner on the surface to find the center and then trim off the corners. I should do a short video on this since it is really hard to explain with just words. Thanks for the idea. Stay tuned.

Thanks, Suzet. Well done! Question: What would lead an artist to decide to place vanishing points out beyond the opposite edges of the paper? I've seen this done, so that the perspective lines come into the drawing space from either side, but originating from "outside" the drawing. What governs that kind of perspective? Thanks.

@TheJudplay This makes the angles of buildings less sharp and drastic Judplay. I should do a video about that. I'll put that on my list of projects.

Awesome thanks where have you gotten the huge paper?
antoniomanley 1 year ago
@antoniomanley recylced paper from anything that has white on the opposite side. This one was from the card stock they take out of the front of newspaper machines that advertise stuff. Recently, I scored all the old political yard signs from the candidates before they trashed them. The key is to be proactive on the paper finds. Catch them before they hit the can.
