LOTRO: Library of Steel, Lead The Charge Speedrun

I was impressed at someone's ability to run Library of Steel using the archer herald while specced Leader of Men - I decided to try matching or beating the record using Lead the Charge.

I used improved scrolls of warding and battle to speed things along. I don't think the other guy used them. Even though I technically beat his record, I'm still quite impressed by his speed run, since I simply operate certain aspects of the game intentionally much faster (such as looting) than he does. I think that his killing speed may still actually be quicker than mine!

Heh. Good eye. When in solo spec, I rarely put my banner down, because it's the War Banner. I use it for the +20% melee damage it gives me. The +50 str/agi, to me, isn't worth the time and power it takes to put it down when I'm moving quickly.

I'll put it down when I'm setting up to try to get every last bit of damage out of a hopeful Oathbreaker's/DevBlow crit, but most of the rest of the time I ignore it.

When grouping, Hands of Healing all the way. When soloing, definitely Lead the Charge. I'm writing an app that will help me decide once and for all how much DPS Lead the Charge does compared to Leader of Men, though, and then I can make another decision once I hit that point.

Whenever I get bored of my captain I watch this to strengthen my resolve vs boredom. That LM can wait.

wow captains kill really fast :O my main is a 60 champ but if i trait for aoe i can pull half the instance.. single target dps is alot worse tho
