This video is heartbreaking to watch. The Topeka Zoo should have shuttered its elephant exhibit long ago. The right thing for its officials to do would be to send Sunda and Tembo to an elephant sanctuary immediately. I am so angry that the selfish interests of the humans seem to outweigh the health of these majestic animals. Sunda and Tembo deserve the chance to live out their lives in relative freedom in a setting more conducive to their welfare. Make this happen NOW!
