@Sennanchie I think they meant Pat. He was (and probably is) doing an alpaca farm somewhere after Extreme. I'm glad they are all back together.

I came to the conclusion they were joking about the money. But one more thing.... At the very last few seconds of this video he said " A bass player who left one of the biggest rock bands in the world", Anyone know who that was and what that was all about? Thanx

AT 3:39 they both said they were "out of money" simultaneously! Do you guys think that was actually planned or off the cuff? Whether it was or not doesn't matter, it's the fact that they both have a good sense of humor. And in my opinion I actually do think they were being serious to an extent about it. Nuno is actually as much of a comedian as he is a guitarist, and I get a kick out of him. He's always joking around, which is great!

Gary was never a good fit for Van Halen. And he was brought in by Eddie. If anything, Eddie and his drinking/mental meltdown, are what killed Van Halen. Check out Sammy Hagars book Red. It touches on this.

Boys, you can do all the side projects you want as outlets for your creativity, but PLEASE don't ever disband Extreme. I can't imagine a time when there might be no more of your funky, groovy rock. @BrendaMidnightMoon Aint that the truth. Nuno is the greatest guitar player and Gary can sing like no other. Gary tried playing with Van Halen but not the right fit.
