So those are all 4ths in the intro?

@subg88 Defining a perfect fourth as 5 half steps between two notes the short answer is No. We start out with fourths but some of the intervals in the intro are 4 or 6 half steps, not 5 half steps. The intervals I chose was based on my own "tastes." Go through it slowly and you'll see which ones are or are not a perfect fourth. Cheers.

I think I've got it - seems to be a walk down using the imperfect 4ths of a harmonic minor scale based on the Ab9 chord if you're playing in Dm. I play it in Am, but I never got the intro down very well until I saw your vid. In fact, I just made up my own intro instead, but was never very happy with it. Thanks.

@subg88 Few years ago I heard Leon play the intro with a simple walk down (both hands in unison) on a variation of a minor scale starting from the raised 5th. I think it was a two octave walk down. Acoustic piano. Sounded fine. Thanks for watching...
