It's linux mint. The task bar can be relocated and panels can be added. Maybe you should give it a try so you can stop making noobish comments.

yeah not to mention that Linux alone gets boring, trust me I used linux for a LONG time without windows :/ You go kinda stir crazy :P

I still don't understand why people get a linux distro and try to turn it into windows... I still only use a simple desktop version for the ability of hacing multiple terminals..
How did u do that???!!!!??? And this looks more like ubuntuforums with a Linux mint background ..........

Actually I'm using Linux Mint 8...based from ubuntu 9.10. How I do all the thing ..it's simpe linux distro have an effects..you can find at CompizConfig Settings Manager and play with lots of effect

yeah i am using linux mint 8 helena too and i found those effects including the water one. the only problem i have is that i cant get the water one to work no matter what i do !! i am so annoyed! pls help!

Ok..can you activate your 3D graphics..just try go to System->Preferences->Appearance->Visual Effects and click on Extras. If you choose the Extras meaning it's working.
Still in the "Appearance Preferences " can you see "Custom" button ? If can select it. If not go to "Synaptic Package Manager" in the search box put "Simple Compiz" and apply to it.

Than go to System->CompizConfig Setting Manager and choose "Category->Effects" and click "Water Effects" . Inside the "water effects" click "Enable Water Effects" that all. Try to
press together "Shift->F9" you can see the rain start toggle.
If press "Shift->F8" you can see the wiper start working. Simple
isn't it. That the only way it can work. Tell me if it's working for you.
