Stereotypes aren't okay for ANY group of people -- including theists. Come on, fellow atheists, don't be hypocritical.

  • @2:01 What's the xyz?

    @5:00 They're not stupid... but their ideas are "kinda silly"? If your ideas are stupid (I mean "kinda silly") doesn't that make you stupid? What's the difference between being stupid & thinking stupid things when you don't recognize that those things are stupid?

    @5:12 Your beliefs always affect the the way you act & the world!

    @12:15 Or we could we battle against the concept till religion is a distant memory?

    @12:30 The OT!!!

    @12:50 What like a benine tumor?

  • @MrLittletomdj Have you never heard of people being socialized to believe silly things? Unless you were brought up in an atheist household, you know what it's like to have religious ideas pushed on your from the time you're born. I was raised Catholic and I only became an atheist at the age of 18. It's only been two years, pal. I'm not a stupid person -- it was just that up until then, I didn't HAVE ANYONE to challenge what I'd always known and been told from BIRTH!

  • @MrLittletomdj Now that I've addressed your issue with @5:00, I will address the others. @2:01, XYZ refer to hypothetical beliefs. @5:12, not all beliefs inform all of your actions. I already addressed that in the video. Just take the time to LISTEN please. @12:15, what is your point? @12:30, again, what is your point? "The OT" doesn't mean anything to me so explain yourself. @12:50, Yes. Like a benign tumor. DING DING, you got something right.

  • @ThePatientMuslim You make a shit ton of assumptions about us. We're not atheists because we don't like rules or morality. We make OUR OWN morality, and we don't listen to a skydaddy who tells us that beating your wife is okay. And even if you Allah is real, I'd refuse to follow him. He tells you it's okay to beat your wife. I'd rather go to hell than bow down to such an immoral being.

  • @MindofMichaelMyers The first reason why the bible isn't true is because it's historically inaccurate, it's prophecies don't come true, and it is contradictory.

    The second reason is, Bruce Lee was an atheist. And we all know, Lee trumps Norris.

  • I disagree. I think religion is always harmful. It is the surrender of the intellect. It is the notion that it is not good to use reason to come to the right answer but to blindly accept that the answer is already known. To be religious you really have to be aware that you have done this. And yes if you don't realize you have done this, especially when someone points it out to you, you are in fact an idiot.

  • Okay i just wanna throw in my opinion. I go by ,trip six, aka TheRoamingKid. As an A-theist I fully understand that Christians in most cases believe They are right. But at the Same time As an ex Christian I know that Many Christians are only afraid of The possibility of hell They're selfish attitudes make Them feel as if they can gain exceptence With god if they "save" others. For example christian (a) knows that the Christian way of life is a contradiction To normal human life
  • if god created humans, then why did he create them with functioning reproductive systems that cause them to create humans that evolve from their parents genes? If god created humans in his image then why do we grow bigger, stronger faster, like lifting weights we evolve muscle growth, runners develop fast twitch muscle reflex, and the brain evolves in scientists to hold and recall information. God created evolution? Religious debate is so flawed on the gods many fails

  • @SickMouth OT = Old Testament. No you're not a stupid person, because unlike the many Creationists on YT you have altered your beliefs to fit the evidence. These people DO have people challenging them repeatedly.@5:12 I know you spoke about the issue, I just disagree & I did listen. The xyz is surely the substantiation for the belief, not the belief itself. So again, what's the xyz? My point is giving Creationists verbal Hell may be the proper approach, because that's what's needed.

  • This is a "two parter" comment. My last one was more than just a little blunt. The truth is that I like your attitude & I see where you're coming from. Ultimately your point is "don't be a dick & let's try to get along". On a day to day "real world" basis I would absolutely agree, but this is YT & we're DEBATING on forums geared towards the controversy. I hate religion & I want to slap it out of the heads of my good religious friends. I don't punch religious people I just bash them a verbally.

  • Everyone stereotypes people, it's a natural psychological process - creating a schema for 'types' of people. Interestingly, people also self-stereotype - calling oneself a Christian (or a Muslim) is often self-stereotyping.

  • You are very pretty. I dig the eye liner.
