I agree with you in almost everything. But the "biggest part of our population" IS NOT living in "extreme porverty". Maybe you should check your facts. Around 6% is living in extreme poverty (less than 2 dlls a day) and around 16% are in "mild poverty". That leaves the other 78% of the population somewhere between MIDDLE CLASS (just as in the US) and upper class. Mexico's not a "poor country" we're a Newly Industrialized Country. Read about it.

@neodeville There are more Mexicans speaking English than US nationals speaking Spanish. Also, Mexico's official language is SPANISH. There are more bilingual Mexicans than bilingual US nationals because gringos think everybody in the world should speak English. Lmao.

@AlCovarrubias Lol, nothing like optimist people out of touch with reality. According to the 2010 census 50.6 million (out of a 112 million total population) are in poverty, earning $5.6 dlls a day, what you call "mild poverty", yeah, the biggest part of our population is not in extreme/alimentary poverty, but we are far, far away from having a 78% middle and upper class, that is just wishful thinking.
