The problem with democracy is that it gives power to whoever can gain favour by skilful PR. We need a system where that power doesn't exist. It's called the Rule of Law. It means that if there is a government, it will be a republic in which the elites who gain power within confines of the Rule of Law i.e. a constitution ruling limits on government coercion, will not legislate coercion that is against the publicinterest because they too would suffer butAmerica's lawmakers ELUDE their own tyranny!

Tax-induced, mandated insurance as the US currently has with the employer-provided insurance tax break regulation, reduces consumer choice and therefore increases insurance costs. The regulation that limits choice over state lines gives near-monopolies. And even without single payer, Obama's plans would further increase costs with a new monopoly of government insurance funded by FORCE.
KILL THE BILL! It''s not about rich vs poor, it's about people vs legal coercion!

I don't like what Obama is doing, I was a Democrat but I'm voting Republican all the way from now on!!!

I too was a democrat and worked for Obama to get him elected. I put in many hours. I am greatly disappointed.
I am a libertarian.
But please don't vote blindly and just for republicans...
This is not smart. There are a few good Dem. and a few good Rep. The rest are crooks :)

Obama has failed on every thing he pushed through congress so far, we need a different congress and president.
