It's funny how some people who listen to metal automatically diss famous metal bands and treat less known bands like gods, just cauz they are less known.

Truth is that a band can be awesome also if it's extremely well known, and an unknown band can be extremely shit (not talking about Sacred Reich, they're very good).

Why cant people simply enjoy music? I like Metallica, Pantera, Megadeth etc. but I also like stuff that is known just to a dozen people on the whole planet.

Just fuckin' chill out.

Metal is metal dude,but just with different descriptive words put in the front of the word metal,to describe its STYLE. With racism the way it is today,be careful calling a coloured fellow a "black metalhead" :D

@ex5098 define "as good". If "better" means "more technical", then I might agree, but I also state the fact that good music =/= technical music (not necessarily).

Tastes vary from person to person, but ditching bands just because they're well known is just stupid.
