  • but what if you have THICK curls with lots of volume? :/ my problem is having wayy too much hair with lots of volume (thus the frizz)

  • Redken has just launched Curl Wise 14, a new styling product, which is specially formulated for coarse unruly hair types. Curl Wise 14 will help manage and tame thick curls, fight frizz and help control volume.

Apply to towel-dried hair and either air-dry or diffuse as usual for a controlled, conditioned curls. As always, please check with you Redken stylist for the best recommendation.

  • Each client has an individual look. We know that the curly hair client is very specific about the type of curl they are trying to achieve. In this video the client was looking to enhance her natural curl with more volume which is why the stylist suggested a diffuser. The key with a diffuser is to not dry the hair completely and to concentrate on the roots for added lift. This is just one way to style curly hair. Speak to your Redken stylist for other tips and techniques for curls!

  • This was good, but I just wish it didnt use so many products :(

  • It all depends on the end result you are looking for. You may be able to achieve a similar look with less products depending on your hair type. See your Redken stylist for a consultation and product recommendation for your curly hair.

  • holy mama her hair was frizzy after he finished! And after all that? No thanks, I'll stick with my mixed chicks. And he shouldn't have diffused her hair! That just creates more frizz, air-drying is a must.

  • manipulating a curl too much will just add to the frizz. the best way would be to just let air dry so the hair would be set on the ringlets then just tousle the curls.

  • I love Suchin Pak, but I wasted all this time watching this video and I didn't really like the way the curls came out. There were alot of techniques used that seem to encourage freeziness :(

  • Wasnt the girl in a QVC commercial?

  • @SuperAqueen Yes, there are Redken salons in Louisiana! Visit our website redken.com to locate a salon near you.

  • uuuuh... Her hair looked the same! She needs to not uncurl the curls! Redken still have the best condish for curly hair; bad tips though.

  • all u need is time not products.

  • This vid is pointless. he put waaaay to much product and put heat to it, just so it could look like crap

  • I have a lot of hair and its pretty curly but, I don't want volume in my hair.

  • As a curly/kinky girl who can easily have wet/damp roots all day and night, diffusers are a lifesaver. Sure airdrying is ideal but don't bash diffusers because they make curly styles practical for many of us and are great if USED PROPERLY. I use mine regularly and never had a problem like the girl in this vid unless my hair wasn't fully dry, which I think was part of the problem here. It also seemed to me like her hair was still parched despite the products, leading to even more frizz.
