Wish you could have this power? Maybe you should consider running as root!

  • you don't know that was a fresh install. I never bother removing the motd and I might have just not ever set a password.

  • # pkg_add -v linux-2.6.33.4-1

    ^.^

nah im kidding. bsd + linux both rock.

  • you're an idiot. rm -rf / is the same thing as rm -rf /*

the only difference is that freebsd blocks you from running rm -rf / because they know it's a common mistake and nobody will ever want to delete their / directory.

  • The guy is an idiot because the command is: rm -rf /*

    Not: rm -rf /

  • Why is he an idiot? I did that once with a fresh install just to see what would happen too. It's called curiousity.

  • What it could have been:

    A) Clean install

    B) Virtual Machine (Snapshot would save previous config)

    C) You were planning to wipe it anyway

    D) You wanted to make yourself look like a dumbass on youtube.

  • you both are fuking morons

  • that was a fresh install, and you sir, are an idiot.
