So cool. My grange.born 1875, was a guerilla gardener, planting vacant lots in her town. Seed bombs would have made it easier. Keep the faith.

My family and I just made some seed balls.
We're expecting 58 degree weather for the next 3 days
but below freezing weather after that.
Will these (morning glory) seeds survive the period of freezing?

Then when they sprout someone from the council comes and cuts them all down.

seed bombs are usually only used for areas where you cannot reach ie. fenced in, side of highways.. best way to guerrilla is to go at night and plant pre sprouted seeds and seedlings..
-
well i did it, its very busy there and i didnt want to attract attention..so only time will tell if it worked, if it didnt i will try again
-
How did the seed bombing go then?

I've just heard of guerrilla gardening and seed bombs, and I'm really curious about how well the seed bombs actually work!
Did you follow up, and how were the results?

im about to seed bomb a new roundabout in our area that is only accessible by driving round, throwing onto it, you cannot even walk to it
wish me luck.
@palinfailure we've found that seed balls work best when they're planted a bit later in the year, similar to when you'd plant seeds straight into the soil. If it's going to freeze again, we'd recommend holding onto them a bit longer, if you can stand the wait. Or maybe you could do an experiment and try scattering some now and some in the spring to see what the difference is?
We'd love to hear how it works out!
