I read the missing ring, the Tide didn't play anybody in 66' and would not have been able to beat either Notre Dame or Michigan State on a neutral field that year. Here lies the Bear 323 wins, but he never beat the Irish. ND has more National Titles, more Heismans, more All-Americans, where did the Bear learn his craft from Frank Thomas who played for Knute Rockne who still has the best all-time winning pct. for coaches at .881
