Canadian documentary filmmaker Brian McKenna introduces the documentary "Famine and Shipwreck: An Irish Odyssey" which examines the tragic sinking of the ship "Hannah" in the Gulf of St. Lawrence in April, 1849.
McKenna answers questions from the audience (many of whom are descendants of the survivors who settled on Foley Mountain, north of Westport). For details check the CBC web site:
