Arjun is now taught what "Karma Yoga" means. See this introduction by Lord Krishna in his words. The yoga must be without attachments or asaktis.
By doing the work which is allotted to you in the name of God, the work becomes divine and you are not liable to get sorrows and happiness, the work becomes impersonal.

The work done must not have any desires of fruit. Nicely said by Lord Krishna in the shloka, "Karmanaya vyadhika raste......" See it in the form of a song.
