WoW!, that was very nice of Miss Ross 2 take time out of her busy day to mentor the youth and give a nice donation,, she's giving back and i think that is Wonderful,, Hat's off 2 u Miss Ross.........
Towards the end of the clip Diana comments that she made her initial visit without telling the young lady who would show her Covenant House who she was - she's reported as saying something like 'I think I just gave Diana Ross a tour'! No fuss, no fanfare, no entourage, & yes indeed, no press coverage when Diana isn't being 'A Diva'... She's always stayed above the gossip, much of it incredibly mean and cruel & for the most part entirely unfounded - a very classy Lady indeed.
As someone who has worked with covenant house for over four years, i have to say... this made me SPEECHLESS. thank you so much to Ms. Ross, and to everyone who helps "our" kids!
sexymixedbro put it so perfectly. I also like how Diana the person has just kind of grown and grown onstage over the years, she's not "acting" here like some critics might say in the media, she's being herself and knows what she's talking about, her life's experiences are summed up in how she present herself now. Diana remains a true individual -- including in being honest about her feelings, her thoughts, and her ways of being generous. Great post!

A graceful person...a grand talent as well!
I stopped watching them when I realized this.
