Tony-Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Diana Ross joined Covenant House President Kevin Ryan on stage in New York City on June 2 offering her support after homeless youth being helped by Covenant House performed the show-stopping song "One Day at a Time." The benefit raised funds to provide food, shelter, clothing, educational opportunities, job training and counseling for homeless teens. Ms. Ross called Covenant House a builder of bridges and a place of shelter and hope for children in need.

  • There are many charities that are helped by Diana Ross and she does this quietly unlike so many big name stars.

A graceful person...a grand talent as well!

  • Towards the end of the clip Diana comments that she made her initial visit without telling the young lady who would show her Covenant House who she was - she's reported as saying something like 'I think I just gave Diana Ross a tour'! No fuss, no fanfare, no entourage, & yes indeed, no press coverage when Diana isn't being 'A Diva'... She's always stayed above the gossip, much of it incredibly mean and cruel & for the most part entirely unfounded - a very classy Lady indeed.
