  • that theirs a fancy lookin skinbox

  • I want to know hoe ukuleles are made!!

  • @tonysshadow There's a west African instrument called an akonting that's considered the closest ancestor of the banjo. It has a gourd body, a hide head, and one drone string and two melody strings, which are all plucked in fast arpeggiating patterns. The connection between west African folk instruments and the banjo is both well researched and well established.

  • Shoddy workmanship on instruments that sell for $3000.00 or more.

  • LOLOLOLOL.... noooo we cant have the only musical instrument invited USA be from the only original culture left in the USA. We cant have southerners being better than us elites in New York and Hollywood. Ok, so here's the story ...those slaves at one time or another tied a gutstring to a stick....yeah thats the ticket...that was a banjo. Yep, folks will buy that story.

(For crying out loud, will it ever end...)
