Yeah it was scary living with all these different reptiles..I remember picking my bicycle up when I was about 13 years old and it was a very big rattlesnake under it..My grandmother shot it though but u can imagine growing up around those things.. My tree house kept snakes in it as well but it soon became 2nd nature till the point u know where 2 look and things like that.

I grew up in Alabama and I seen so many on our land b/c it was like a swamp getting deeper into them woods behind my house...U are right about them running away but if u provoke them or try to corner them they will strike

Water Moccasins are not the snakes to fuck with. Granted, they flee once you get relatively close to them. I nearly stepped on one and it took off away from me, so I wouldn't worry so much about them.
