On the Senate floor yesterday, Sen. Orrin Hatch (R-UT) said there was nothing the Senate could be doing that was more important than banning flag burning.

Nobody's burning flags right now, Orrin. But if you ban it, they will burn. Some might even spontaneously combust if you defile the constitution with a flag burning amendment. The reason people are asking him if there's anything more important that the senate could be deliberating on is because people know that Oring and the rest are using the same old divisive tactics to during an election year to draw attention away from the incompetence of the Bush white house.

Exactly! But man I hate Orrin Hatch. And the idea of a flag burning amendment pisses me off because all it would do is torch flags and crowd prisons. Then again maybe it's time for another revolution... Either that or an invasion of Utah if they keep on electing this un-American piece of crap.
