  • Where was this on the tour & I never saw it on TV?

  • @hearsay58 - I have no idea - just saw it offered years ago on Ebay (when that was still allowed) and grabbed it while I could. So Glad I did.

  • I read something 20 years ago I never forgot ; "only two rock stars have the class to wear wristwatch, Bryan Ferry and David Bowie."

  • What a gorgeous and criminally underappreciated tune. The same can be said for Ferry's entire catalogue. Subtlety and refinement are rare commodities these days, and Ferry has always lit the way in this regard. Love love love him. See Roxy live at all costs. Life changing!

  • wait...........I've heard this melody before...

yes: Rick, Robin & Him - three choruses of despair

    Eno loves Motown

  • During any given moment, as half of humanity wriggles in the death throes of starvation, I'm having breast-enhancement surgery. Because the surgeon is my greatest pal of all time he will, with his trusty razor and butchers' acumen, convert my thoracic cavity into a silicon-bag storage facility. My tits will be out there reaching for the selfish love that Jane Russell did three-quarters of each day in her 18-hour padded brassier.

  • One dream that just won't die.

  • einfach nur gut. sehr viel feeling wie eben meisterhaft bei den meisten seiner stücke.

  • Just proves again that Ferry+Eno=Magic!

  • @sydsays1 Absolutely. This is predominantly an Eno composition, I'd agree. My guess is that, lyrically, the verses may be Bryan's, while the chorus is Brian's. The music overall sounds like the classic Eno structure.
