  • Hi Sensei,

Love the Kata. It takes me back to many hours of training. Right back on the mat. We will learn it and make you proud! GBY

  • Thank you very much!! What style did you previously train in? Thanks for commenting. Peace like a river...

  • I'll go over this in more detail in class next week. There is one transition that is just different in the execution of the kata now vs in the video.

  • OK, after last night's instruction my comment above seems a littel dense....duh. Minus the eye spear it's pretty much in line with what you're expecting us to practise. One question about how you transition from one technique to another- were you simply limited by space and normally you'd progress forward counterclockwise with each new technique? IOW, at the end of the closed fist technique you turn to the left and step back. I'm assuming with more room you'd omit the step back.

    Thanks!

  • Hey Sensei- I see that this form is different from what actually do in the dojo...is there a chance in your "free time" (HA!) you might record the "beginning form" as you teach it and would like us to be practicing? I don't have partners "my size" at home so the forms are pretty much all I work on and I feel I'm ready to move to the next steps of this form, but we don't always have time in class to discuss it...and seeing it on video would be awesome! :-] Thanks for the great vids! Scott

  • I sent the meetup location to you two days ago, twice (once per account). Provide me with some of the info I want while my secondary number is in the works.

  • Yeah I know about the mix of the system, a lot of system dont teach in anything but english, its a nice touch to teach several languages in the training. Sometimes a technique just doesnt have the right sounding name/counterpart in english. Later

  • I am still interested in the $10,000 mma match please provide your address for your school. Thank You

  • I moderated posts from both of you. If I wouldn't want a word said in front of someone's 14 year old sister, it isn't on my channel. I'd have sent you a pm beforehand but I was prevented from doing so by your settings. So, in short, I *did* delete *all* the offending posts.

  • Bakakata: We are based in four different arts; Chung Do Kwan Tae Kwon Do, Ba Men Chuan Fa Kung Fu, Shiho Karano Ju Jitsu and Kabaroan Escrima. So four arts, four countries and five languages. We mostly teach in English, but the origin language is sometimes the easiest to use.
