The big business of farming in the US is booming but undocumented migrants make up more than half of the farming workforce. They are ripe for exploitation and face low salaries, substandard housing, risk of injury, pesticides and heat stroke. Some literally work themselves to death. In this episode, Inside USA investigates farming in the era of free trade.

  • Aljazeera English doesn't lie, they report really good stories, about USA and other countries like BBC World CNN International, The FCC should force USA Cable and Sat operatiors to carry these channels, if we don't see these channels and have outlets there will be more hate crimes aginst Mideast people and others, Self Censorship is dumb, overbody else in this world gets to see these channels, why not in US Canada?

  • andybowe, well put,

  • The "wealthy elite" are the people who have the power to hire new employees. this is how you help an economy, by allowing business to expand and create jobs.

  • the centre = pro-war, pro-privitisation, deregulation, free-trade, basically the wealthy elite agenda

  • All these channels you mention hardly give a global perspective of things. The coverage of global issues is dumbed down to pamder to simplistic audiences. The journalism and reporting at Al-Jazeera are world-class and give a complete world view. There is absolutely no way any of the aforementioned channels have the reporting capabilities in the Middle East like Al Jazeera. Allowing Al Jazeera to broadcast in America would give the audiences the other side of the picture in Iraq and Afghanistan.

  • michaelimage,

    sorry for repeating your line

    i meant cosmopolitan, not cosmpolitan

    too

  • I think you know the why. Transfer of wealth is happening at an unprecidented rate in North America.

  • spot on michaelmage!

Corsi is a loser and a major fraud.

  • Corsi is a pig ... do the research ... the 11 footnotes refer to his own writings??

    absolutely scurrilous.

Kerry was a dupe. nothing more.
