  • Got any advice for fungus? Got it a few years ago while in hospital for tx of Testicular Cancer. pesky fungus making my toes look like 80 year old men and I'm not cool with that!

  • the compound W wart remove bandaids have this in it and its 40% i had one on my elbow and it got rid of i in 5days

  • i have had clogged pores and whiteheads that never came up and when i started washing with salicyclic acid,, goodness did they unplug pores fast, these whiteheads are seriously being dislodged, it sucks but it really does uncog pores.

  • can people be allergic or not as receptive to salycilic acid?

  • i just got salicylic acid in powder form...if i use 1 oz of the acid how much water/ solution should i dilute it with to make it 3 %?

  • Use a 2.5 % cream, lotion, or scrub. I'm a Medical student, and I've read numerous medical articles on the efficacy of salicylic acid. It, actually, seems to be a more viable topical remedy than it's counter product Benzoyl Peroxide.

This is because, for one, it doesn't bleach fabrics, and it is relatively milder on the skin.

    Hope this helps...

  • Wow MD on youtube, thanks for the advice :)

Should it be 2% or 15%? I've seen salicylic acid on wart off, and it has burned my skin and made it raw (looks infected...). Does this work the same for ingrown hairs? I do not really struggle as much with acne now as an adult, but instead I get ingrown hairs where I used to get acne, as well as ingrown hairs from shaving my chest and abs.

Thanks for any response in advance!
