What im trying to say is that I very much doubt you have ever been in a real fight or worked in an environment like I have where fights are common place.
Next time you comment you should refrain from sounding like your talking about something like its an art form when im talking about it in real life situations. Read my post mate, I wasnt attacking ninjitsu as an art, its very pretty, its just also pretty dangerous to try on a 300 pound drunk.

1 - The lowest art of fighting? Fighting is an art in real life is it? Interesting.
2 - These are techniques that I personally don't think are applicable to real life situations. I would not be confident performing a move like this even with training because they are overly superfluous and showy. Much simpler moves can achieve the same result.
3 - I was working a night shift and a junky who I assume was on PCP started screaming at me and pulled out a knife for no reason.

People need to start respecting martial arts for what they are... ARTS! Its about building you're character and personality, not about winning street fights! Through martial arts, people learn to understand their capabilities and build self awareness- Its not all necessarily about self defence! So all this crap about street fighting and self defence capabilities in a real life situation is just ridiculous! Today, most martial arts are sports, enjoy them people!

@RetardPwnage 1.boxing is the lowest art of fighting there is and its not even that good then
2. these are techniques that are even before the person swings you have them down on the ground
3.you must suck at boxing if you've been in it for 4 years and you ran away
-
@jackmandrake Now THAT's true. As with every weapon, it highly depends on who is holding it.
-
@RetardPwnage Wow, 4 years of boxing - i guess that made you the new Klitschko.
Seriously, if the attacker is like a wild enemy - why would you try to talk to him? And running away is even one of Ninjutsu's strategies.

Tap early live long
I think its all well and good knowing a few moves but i think that when you teach someone this stuff there instant reaction is to use it and not when it is necessary. I used to see it all the time people just asking for a fight with someone because they know martial arts. When you call something Combat Ninjitsu you are asking for the wrong people to join.

Doesn't work in a real fight. If the other person respects the rules of your discipline than yes, but on the street when people will charge and scrap... No, do not use any of these flashy, superfluous martial arts. It's 10x safer to learn how to talk your way out of or walk away from a fight. I boxed for 4 years and thought I was tough as nails but even boxing I found myself in situations where the other person was just a wild animal and I ended up just running. Scary shit :(
