The 3 main reasons why Africans look down on African Americans is

1. Most African Americans are ashamed, embarrassed, and ignorant about their African history or heritage.

2. Some African Americans are not using opportunity in America for their own advantage.

3. African Americans make rude comments to Africans like saying " you all have aids, have sex with monkeys/gorilla, famine, mud huts, and ect."

I have lived in the US since 1983 and have had more positive feedback from Black Americans than negative.I've never heard the term "pet". I always find it strange with people who come to the US from other countries that to them its okay to insult our way of life but we'd be wrong to behave likewise. I can never understand this. I chat with a lof of foreigners too and they totally think that their way of life is the perfect way to be but that American lifestyle is corrupt and wrong and we're all going to go to hell, yet they never say anything bad about their own country even though we know what happens where they live. You have anger issues, you should look up to African immigrants because they overcame challenges that you have yet to face. Many Africans are the diversity in the elite corporate structure. Majority of the science Phd's among the blacks minority in this country are from Africans. If you exclude rappers and athletes the same holds true with African millionaires. Give credit where credit is due those who are darker than you have advanced farther than you.
