Ohhhh what an adorable sweetpea!!! I'd of been happy with the scissors , I think my Harley might of had a bad groomer at one time. I am finally getting him used to cutting with scissors. I also have finally found a great groomer. Thanks for the wonderful video :)

Thumbs up if you think Shih Tzus are the cutest!

Thanks you so much. I've been using something like that peanut trimmer with his body and when i tried using it near his face, he got real antsy and i stopped because i didn't want to hurt him. I just tried with the scissors and treats and it worked pretty good. His face looks so much better.

i love this i will just try with the shears but i a little uneasy about the peanut clippers but you did a great jod and for all people who think shih tzu are bad. they are not it all about the person you are and how you care for and train you dog. my shih sasuke is almost two years ans he loves going to the groomers and when he goes the groomer loves him. i have the most wonderful litttle lap dog who dosnt bark at all. well only when we are playing.

Why would you use such a big scissors? Use a smaller one with rounded tips!
Thank You Bitchoff
I will give that a try

As far as getting her to stay in one place, it is all a matter of conditioning and getting her use to being groomed, with patience and consistency. Zoey was not always so co-operative. as a puppy she would fight me, but I continued to condition her to grooming by making her stand still even as I was combing around her face.

pritycrazy, I would like to be able to respond to your question about trimming Mimi's eye hair, but I am not quite sure what you are talking about, nor am I qualified to advise, except to say you should ask your vet.
