@FlashGORDONXVFFR You're right about that. The Act of Succession was what caused the deaths of John Fisher,Thomas More and others that refused to sign it. The Act of Succession was made to declare and have people recognize Henry VIII as The Supreme Head of The Church of England as well as the legitimacy of his marriage to Anne Boleyn and their child as a rightful heir to the throne upon pain of death.

Anne's father was a scumbag!!!!
-
@NicolaWriter ..you called that right, the shit's out.
-
@peacedesertrose I agree .. She thought she still had his heart.
-
@Jackiezyon It wasn't that easy... She knew she had done no wrong, and was innocent so surely running away would have made her look guilty. I don't think Anne had any idea of the extremes Henry would go to to get shot of her. She overestimated his love for her.

James Frain is diabolically wonderful in the interrogation scenes.

This is so cruel..no matter how innocent they said they were, and they were, they were completely merciless....one fib and a rumor costs more than one life!
Snezhinka9 and @BabyDLowe Jane Seymour did have something to do with Anne doewnfall because on the advice of Ambassador Chapuys she told the king that people would never accept Anne as queen, so she basically fuelled the kings doudts about Anne

@katsklawz01 Actually the people disliked Anne from the start. It was recorded on the day of her Coronation parade, there was no cheering, only sullen silence. Elizabeth's birth & the miscarriages worsen her situation. Plus, Henry VIII was abt in his mid-40's at that time with a bad leg & from his point of view, allowing Anne more time to give him a son was not an option.

@katsklawz01 Historicans believed the jousting accident was the turning point in Henry's life tt made him into a vicious wife-eater tyrant. 'The Tudors' kinda grossed over tt crucial segment which is lazy cuz in S01, Henry had a minor accident (fictional or not) tt fuelled his decision to marry Anne. The point is tt the MAIN villian is Henry cuz he did what he wanted & when it didn't work out, he pushed the blames to others as if it wasn't his fault.

@katsklawz01 Sorrie, I mean to say that the REAL (not 'Main') Villian was Henry VIII. Plus, it's so very unfortunate that KoA, AB & JS met each other in such hostile circumstances. They could have been a great team, like Charlie's Angels or something... Rot in Hell, Henry VIII.
