A video from Gapminder with Hans Rosling telling the story of three big nations (China, USA and India).
First, see the development of three centers of trade, Shanghai, New York and Mumbai.
Secondly, a comparison of the capitals: Beijing, Washington, D.C. and New Delhi.
And finally, a note from Professor Rosling on how one can measure the progress of President Obama's intentions to improve the health system.

  • Nice video, thanks for the info.

  • how do you chck that i'm trying to find it but can't, please help

  • @hindsky: how would you know since you've never been there.

  • @hindsky Although living in India is free,if you'll start small business in India especially in Mumbai ,you will end up living in dirty slums or in old dilapidated buildings unlike in USA where you will get good hygienic lifestyle.I stay in Thane neighboring Mumbai on same Island and I got experience of it and life here is tough, you have to struggle more to earn small bucks unlike in USA you get more bucks in that same struggle enough to spend majority on entertainment.

  • India is a land of dirty politics! These politicians care about themselves than that of a country. And the highest depositor in Swiss Bank are Indians and still Indian government is not taking actions even though India is bigger than Switzerland. If this happens in China and in USA,they would have took some stringent actions and that is the reason why China is developing 2x than India.

  • @crazydancingpoet Thats why it has the highest income.

  • @EWnspire

Give it 30 years, these three countries will still be very different. US will be better than China, and way much better than India. It's a no-brainer, period.

  • Living in India is like a Free world and Living in China is like a JAIL.....or a Cage........

  • @lagrangewei I agree. The disparities are already present as you say and the gap is getting wider. But at least we are all moving towards better health.
