Its to hard to believe that ALL this is just cause. My own thoughts tell me also that no one knows. I sit open minded of a god or the idea of a god. Like everyone 100% of this world I NEED proof. I think the world is so lost and scared in there beliefs in this society that they let there fears over come individual beliefs...the very thing that makes us human. Fear has become a desructor of life. We are destory each other for the lack of being indivdual humans. Life !!!!!!

I want to make sure you don't think I'm being cynical but here is my 'truth'.

I believe Santa is real. Like you say it's not a person but in this world 'we' need to see what we believe in. And that is a very real need like getting a hug and not just being told someone loves you.

@PuppyZwolle Thanks, almost feel your hug, I do like the "Christmas Spirit" and Santa is part of it. Just seems to be the time to rethink the role of formalized religions for me. I think the local pastor helps people through the major events of life, Birth, Marriage, Sickness, and Death. To me if the "Higher UPs" above the congregation hold the deed to the church property is deplorable. HarOLD

Just think for yourself as an adult. Everyone I know at some point has questioned what they believe in, perfectly normal. I say to myself with an open mind that theres nothing wrong with that belief. There are as human as I am. <<<When I say that to myself I feel so humble. A respect for a fellow person more important a human who like me makes mistakes. I think its in human nature to make mistakes in order to servive as a specie. As for a anthiest or religious person...

Making nothing into something. In todays society many would say I'm an Athiest. Some would call me a non-religious person. In todays society I could be shunned for what I believe in. The honest truth is that no one knows how all this started. I have respect to peoples beliefs and there belief structure. To me its really weird how people can conform to a belief or a belief structure with out thought. I say put aside what you were told or what you were taught as a child...

@PuppyZwolle Santa is derived from the Dutch 'Sinterklaas' but I'm pretty sure he is derived from some shamanic ceremony just like the Christmas tree and many other good stuff people thought up before Christianity came along and we still use and love today.

We are to human to understand God. As a matter of fact we have trouble enough understanding ourselves. ;^) I completely concur with your view of God. And there is not much sense in arguing about that but debating it may prove fruitful.
