This unique quartet has meshed together a great new sound for jazz called "East Coast Cool". This dynamic version of Herbie Mann's classic features flute, cello, guitar and drums from 4 masterful musicians. Players: Tom Reese (flutes); Laurie Haines Reese (cello); Bobby Brewer (guitar); Aaron Walker (drums); Vinnie Dorso (percussion). Special thanks to Vinnie Dorso, Alois at Bube's Brewery (Mt. Joy, PA), Mo' Jazz (Wilmington, VT) & RSN Tv (Mount Snow).

  • Awesome performance! Memphis Underground has always been my favourite jazz instrumentals. It's fun to see other musicians play this song as well. When was this filmed?

  • wow! this is amazing, really good job guys! Congrats on a better version of the song, thats a real hard thing to accomplish..when are you playing in california =)

  • The contrabass is too quiet

  • Absolutely brilliant , i love it when just after the bongo solo it kicks again (the smile on the cello players face says it all
