Beautiful images of male and female orangutans in their natural habitat attempting to build nests. With the orangutan population dwindling by the year, this documentary asks the question - will there be any forest left to support them in the future?

  • At the same time, there may be rare plants that contain extracts with medical applications. We should be trying to understand the forest not destroying our primary source of oxygen.

  • Rrrr. I hope there will be. I hate these people getting rid of the forests and that, we need them for the good of the overall environment and atmosphere, it looks nice, it's good that the vegetation is getting a chance to grow and prosper, and it's also important for the many species that live and roam there!

  • @VivekisV i agree, but the forests and jungles aren't our primary source of oxygen, the ocean is.

  • @Kyuutsume you might right about me reverting say that, it's just I have a fear of them because a rat bit me when I was younger and I have a mark to prove it.

  • @TheMischievousbull If rats ever become endangered you will regret saying that... you know they aren't as bad as they are rumoured to be. I have a pet rat, he loves cheese, and he's extremely friendly. He doesn't go through rubbish or eat the scraps. :\

  • i think some humans will never know what this planet had until it is gone forever, and most of the people who think its wrong are powerless to stop this from happening, its animal extinction when the poachers have killed of the last one of that species they move on to the next endangered but i don't to live in a world were they are no forests or wild animals. (apart from rats i can live without rats.)

  • i hope there will be, they're my favourite ape...

  • There should be a side comment when the video says "The older baby must learn to fend for itself" because the older babies maintain very close contact with their mothers even when there is a new infant. I am trying to find a DVD copy of the BBC special that had Joanna Lumley in Borneo (years ago) If anyone sees this and knows where a copy may be purchased, please leave a comment under my video (I currently have just the one)
