#7 Criminal Cosplayed Cover

I have the project to make covers on youtube, cosplayed, and criminal... "CCCovers" is the account I will create soon ! :)

I made it in 4 hours yesterday, and I respected some rules :
- no partition, ears only (and it's enough)
- my guitar and my voice only
- less than 6 hours to record all
- guitars are one-shots (I play all the piece in a row till it's good enough to my ears)

The last rule should be to play one part live, filmed with a webcam. Unfortunately I have no webcam yet.

Rather easy to play and record, I chose to shorten it from the original version. There's no point in playing it for 2 extra minutes if I have no idea to implement, I hope you'll understand. :)

@HeadMinerve Yes, I got it, but... I wouldn't call an 128 kbps wma an HD version. :) Besides, a 480p YouTube video already supports 128 kbps in AAC encoding. You have the master record, don't you? :3 Would you mind making a lossless HD version for your subscribers? :3

@Elix17 Well, A lossless version of one of my cover is usually 10Mo per minute, and doesn't really render sthg better than a 196kbps version. Don't forget I don't master the mix, I don't compress anything either. In a way what you hear in a mp3 version is so close to the original footage that you can't really hear ANY difference. I could equalize the mix to make it louder and regular throughout the whole song though, on extra time.

@HeadMinerve That's what I really liked in your version: a complete absense of compression. And the dynamic range of the guitar is so high because there are very few instruments. Frankly speaking, your version sounds better than the original and you may trust me on that because I use high-grade studio monitors for listening. Also, I hear differences between lossless and 128 kbps :) (192 is tougher). Bandwidth is of no issue for many people here. So I will ask for it one more time :)

This is fantastic. And that one reply you made regarding the chords was immeasurably helpful. This is my favorite piece from hellsing, and I've been trying to learn it by ear, but it's hard to pick out the nuances in the original recording. Now to get my girlfriend to figure out the piano part so my band can cover it...
