Rest In Peace Corsica

So Shelby didn't make this Kara did aka tangosmygurl4.. that's why the name is there in the corner..
Read: Shelby will probably change this but just so you guys aren't confused before she does change it, here's what happened:
Corsica had been really lame and hadn't been able to be ridden for the past month. Then he started to get loose a lot of weight and couldn't keep it on no matter how much he was fed. He had laminitus and he was getting older.. The vet came out to look at him adn said the best thing for him was to put him down and put him out of his suffering. The week before he was put down he could barely walk from the barn to the field he was in so much pain, so Shelby knew it was time. He was burried in his field with all of his friends and is out of his pain now. Everyone misses him greatly because he was such an amazing horse and touched so many lives! We love you Corsie Horse!

thank you guys. its really hard, but even harder to see them suffer. i still feel like he was taken from me way too soon, but thats selfish. he had a good, long life.

Poor Corsey!!! We will always remember you!!! I remember one day in camp where I accidentally cantered him a few strides and that was the best part of the year and my life. I can't stand to watch videos about him cuz I just cry every time. He was taken too soon but he did have a good life. I will always remember you Corsica!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love you Corsey Horsey!!!! He was an amazing lesson horse... I remember after my lesson one night When he was sick he was let out in the arena because he couldn't go outside and i was petting him and stuff and i had to leave so i started walking away and he just started trotting behing me and he would nudge me in the back when he caught up. R.I.P. Corsica!!!

Aww :( I put my 33 year old down in December because he couldn't keep weight on...kidney failure which CAN be treated but he was too under weight (dropped in literally 3 weeks) and it was too cold for him.
