RMVX Boos405 Mapping Contest Submission by JoRu94

I made this town in a couple of days for my game but also for Boos405's Mapping Contest that's been on for a short while now. To be honest, the concept and a very small portion of the map was made way before the contest was up but 90% of the map was fully mapped and completed in about 2 days (started September 2th and recorded this late last night). It's definately not my best map but I'm still very happy about it since it was made in such a short time.

The town is called "Beville" and is mentioned in my very first video of my upcoming game. It will be used in the game in Chapter Two. This was recorded with Fraps in 25 FPS to be able to play without significant lag, and it worked out fine. The song is "Lazy Afternoons" from Kingdom Hearts II.

@JoRu94 okay. well, i kno it works by deciding which sound to play for each tile. I also what to do something similar to that. like i want a certain picture to show for each tile the player goes onto. do you kno a scripter possible of doin' something like that? i cant script for a gazillion bucks. i try and either nothing happens or it messes up the game xC

@MrMeshida I'm probably not the right guy to ask about scripting, since I only have little knowledge about it and haven't been very active in the scripting-area of the RPG Maker-communities. If you do a script request at a RPG Maker-forum for it you might get some help. The best thing would be if you got in touch with the creator of the footsteps-script, sounds more like only an edit of the existing script is required rather than an entire new script. Hope that helps! :)
