Prof. Scammington's Walking Tour of DC continues with a visit to always fascinating intersection of 16th and I Streets NW in Washington, D.C. (it's right by the White House).
Thanks for letting us know that I.M. Pei was the architect. I can believe this, because I know that he designed some of the buildings for The Mother Church in Boston.
The videographer should shown the other side, too.
It is probably built that way to be more soundproof in a heavy traffic area. Why don't you research the reasons for its design and get back to us? Also, please examine the inside for us. Thank you!

The church was actually built by a renowned architect named I.M. Pei, well known for his modernist architecture. Thanks for highlighting it. Cheers
