@gurl143143 NO. it was PCD that came up with an idea... Rehman agreed , becoz he wanted the song to be alive for younger generation but was very specific about the lyrics... so the first version was changed to this second version.... He asked them to rewrite the lyrics telling them the meaning of jai ho watch out his interview...

half of u probably dunno wht the history behind the PCD is, and why Nicole is the lead singer. But whtever! and btw PCD didnt ruin this song, they were approached by A.R.Rahman himself to do this song! so shut up already!
