A short video documenting the 2001 Madagascar Institute street event. Participants were asked to create bulls, or anything that evoked "bullness," and meet at the Carroll Street Bridge in Brooklyn. The public was asked to wear traditional whites. Bulls chased runners and neighborhood folks several blocks back to the Madagascar Institute for a party celebrating all things Spain put on by people who had never actually been there.
This video was created by a mystery videographer. His sister called him and told him to come down to the bridge. He grabbed a camera and shot from a street corner near his house. He edited footage that night to take to a party and gave us a VHS tape the following day. Thank you Mr. Avenue Z.
Wow what a waste of time.
