As a white person it makes me feel bad that white people have traditionally made black people feel like they are ugly. I think black people are beautiful. The traits of beauty may differ from race to race, because we are different. But beauty exists in all races. The only reason I'm saying this is because there were comments about prejudices from black folks towards biracial people like they're "trying to be better" and I think it's rooted in that "white=good black=bad" poison we were taught.

solowizard,that is correct, i think this video is associated with a website called mixedfolks, that is a site that has good intentions but they know squat about race, just as you pointed out jewish people are not a race many are white some are black etc etc also on there site they claim all kinds of white celebs as being mixed ,for example they will say Christina Aguilera is mixed just because her father is hispanic and her mother is not ,they fail to see hispanic is not a race!

The whole thing about being mistreated/bullied by African-Americans for "acting white" is a thing most African-American/Black American kids that "speak a certian way, reading/being smart, listening to Rock/Pop/Country music face. My browner cousins have faced that as well.

@DaTruth2024 This brings me to another question. Honestly the "multiracial movement" at times seems to be riddled with colorism at times everytime I've been introduced to it. Do people think that a "light-skin black" is some how "more mixed" than a brown-skin biracial (I have seen alot esp. those from Europe and Africa).

WTF. Who the fuck says that?

My family is mixed on all four bloodlines (heavily on three) and alot of people in my family range in complexions with some being lighter and "more mixed looking" than the two at 2:13 who claim that black people didn't like them for being "light and pretty". Black people except my family and I just fine. I know that every experience is different but that sounds like BS to me.

Tina and Joey raise salient points that I have heard from other here on you tube and in the course of my informal research: that a number of black people have a great deal of resentment and dislike about bi-racials.

Being Black/White Bi-racial, I was never raised with either whites or blacks so I never ran across those attitudes growing up.

However, it is interesting and sad to hear these experiences of others.

@halliezmandy Iam black, white and native american as well and it is nice that you have the correct attitude about being biracial. I don't waste a lot of time thinking about people who don't like us. I have real worries- work, money , career-to consider.

@Thebraids exactly. Being biracial is awsome. You have 2 parents that love you and you have two different ethnic backgrounds. I'm Black White and Native American. And the only biracials who experienced identity crisis where the ones with slave moms raped by the master. Feeling unroyal to either one
