Sad reflection on the world when a list that is populated with some truly mind bending talent is dominated in the last few years by a thug with a pistol.
-
Really proves that rappers with no taste killed music. Started out with legendary music like Elvis and ended with crap like 50 cent.

Whats the song at 1978??

I think on the last 10 songs or so, you focused on one genre only, while before you had more varieties.

eminem should be on the intro pic

RIP MUSIC

@DAveThePea Yeah but thankfully the whole rap/gangsta thing is dying out as hip hop is losing popularity because electro & pop are dominating now!
-
Um why did you skip years!? =/

sorta dissappointed.....i was looking forward to a little more rock and metal groups thrown in in the 90s, but c'mon, only guns & roses? this is basically "classic, pop & hiphop over the years" which can hardly be described as music...
I've had this in my favorites for a couple of years and on my page in the old playlists, just looking at it again -- have to say you really did an excellent job with editing the music on this.

Omg, it's all clear to me now! It's the nigras and their rap!....
Seriosly, are you looking for the catoliser that started it all? Sexual revolution - that branched into styles of drug'n'rock, pop and rap. These three styles dominate the playlists today.

has nothing to do with race, look at the previous #1's
Has to do more with dumb down consumerism, insecurity, marketing IMO

im not saying i dont agree, but i think that was pretty biased. Where is the source that is telling you these #1's? you are filling a pretty narrow gap with these songs. You missed about 150 million genre's.

Wikipedia, not much bias, these are songs that DOMINATED #1 on charts for weeks and also heavily in pop culture each year,
