Of all the girls in the Karate Kid series, I was always in love with Kumiko. Absolutely gorgeous, really sweet girl, definitely worth fighting to the death for.

This is why the orginal Karate Kid movies were so good. A great romantic scene that is REAL. It was perfectly done, even adding in the fact that he makes a joke to lighten the seriousness of a ritual he s nervous about and doesn't quite understand, then immediately apologizes because he realized he was making a mistake in not taking it seriously. This is one of the most powerful and BELIEVABLE moves scenes of all time. I could imagine my teen brother acting EXACTLY like this.
