Creepy? Dark? Then I did my job well. :)

Hey guys,

Here's my speed paint Defil3d. Ok, I know what you're thinking but please just read the discretion note. Defli3d is the subject for mainly art purposes only. Please NO POSTING hate comments. I hope you enjoy the speed paint and thank you for watching. :)

I couldn't wait for Defil3d's response because I'm really not sure whether he'll/she'll be on soon enough and I couldn't help my excitement. I'm really happy with the way this piece ended up and I hope you guys are too. :)

Please enjoy.

You may wonder...WHY DEFIL3D?

Well, simply because I want to broaden my style of art and be more versatile with themes and ambiances. This piece, as it shows is dark and a little more gothic than my previous speed paints. If you think so, then I achieved my goal. :)
If you're also wondering what those two eyes mean? Then here's an explanation: Zamarok and Saradomin.
Two of them ripped and placed as one represents Defiled's split personality.

  • Personally I don't believe there is such thing as a true artist. I believe an "artist" is some one who creates something out of nothing, something beautiful in its own way. No one can be called a true artist just because they use a pen or pencil. And artist is someone who creates using his or her abilities. In this case a computer. Which in this day and age is becoming readily accepted as art.

  • @crazyp3rs0n Yes, I do agree with you on that. Art is not based on the Artist. Art is based on the beauty that lies within everything and anything. It is the passion we put into art, not the genre. It is every breath we take when we make each stroke, regardless with a digital pen or not. It is the inspiration that flows into our bodies. It is life. Art can be anything, we artist are art ourselves if you ask me. :)

  • God i hate computer drawing!!

its made so easy.. What happend to true art from your own hands with a pencil in your hand

I don't wanna say that i am a true artist in drawing but i don't draw bad but

now i have to learn it on the computer.. thats soo wasted.

  • @106588 By true art , you mean traditional art. And no 'computer drawing' is not as easy as I made it look. It takes time, practice, effort, and paying a little more money for good tools. But artists don't start art with computers, they start with paper. Computer painting is just the next level so..if you think you're at a bad start, I don't think so. Just had to point that out. And by the way, this art really was from my own true hands.

  • Oooh this isbeautifully made...whenever your done with pictures do you print them?

    I'd love a copy ;)

  • thats beautiful i could never do that

  • @106588 I think your confusing easy with efficient.

  • @106588 from the way he is drawing he is using a drawing tablet which means you hold a "pencil" in your hand still, also i think it would take more skill because most drawing tabs require you to look at the screen then look at the tablet which is the way most people learn to draw by looking at the surface they are drawing on. i think he is very skilled for this espcially for hte shading and accuracy of light sources that he uses.
