@madlarkin117 You can't enlist when your 12. And this helps. You can enlist as an E-3 after reaching C/2lt. in C.A.P. which is alot higher grade than you'll ever be judging by your disrespect.

@madlarkin117 Don't be such a piece of shit. Every youth military organization helps you. Whether it be Young Marines(me),Civil Air Patrol(badass),JROTC(straight up the shit) or Navy Cadets(watertastic).You will be helped in some way if you join the military after serving long enough in one of these.

lol no (Thank God). It's The Air Force Auxiliary - much, much, better than JROTC. It is more awesome than the Army cadets, etc so dont think we just fly.

Sadly, the latter with regards to operations (search and rescue). We are entirely civilian and most of our programs are about youth leadership development...

No, it is for kids younger than ROTC age... But I do know many CAP cadets who are at the Academies and in ROTC programs. I am reporting for my first day of Cadet Basic Training for West Point on Monday. So yea - the real deal is better (I hope)
