@mohomoho1 You have no idea what you are talking about.Diamanda is NOTHING like Nina Hagen.I love them both but Ninas music is more about spirituallity and light whereas Diamanda appeals to the darkside.They sound nothing alike and are both very different individuals

@OrchidOxycodone I just found mohomoho's comment funny, as they are the same age (both b. 1955), and developed about the same time, but their influences are completely different. Galas is avant-garde, working with such people as John Zorn, and Hagen mixes up genres like Punk, Goth, New Wave et al. Some people just don't pay attention.

@mohomoho1 Different as night and day! You might also want to check your chronology - it's rather difficult to be a Nina Hagen poser when you started your career at about the same time - in another country - long before MTV and when there was country called The German Democratic Republic.
