Jaco Pastorius & Herbie Hancock - Maiden Voyage( Live in Champaign)

On Jaco's tour with Herbie Hancock & The Headhunters, this tune was included in the repertoire as a bass/piano duet. In other words very different from the original version featured on Herbie's legendary Blue Note outing with the same name. This clip is from their concert in Champaign, Illinois on February the 20th in 1977

@IPastorius - This was recorded to tape - right? I love it! The hiss gives it character. I kindof miss that in today's sound. What did you record it on? a regular cassette tape-recorder?

Not to my knowledge. I think the fuzz is caused by the rather poor sound-quality.

was it raining or something? lol i hear alot of fuzz in the background, nice recording never the less, gives it a sereen feel
